Painting with encaustic gives me a wide range of techniques to develop formal structures. In doing so, I interpret stories based on memory, psychological, philosophical and spiritual concepts.

The Greek word that means “to burn in,” the encaustic technique comprises of beeswax, damar and color. My primary focus is on making monotypes and painting directly onto a surface.
